Location: Christchurch, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Remuneration: Negotiable, commensurate with skills and experience

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Interior Designer / Interior Architect to join our studio. Working within a collaborative team of 18 professionals, the successful candidate will contribute to both residential and commercial projects within an innovative and creative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience within an architectural or design office

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced, proficient skills in ArchiCAD

  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand Building Code and relevant statutory regulations.

  • Documentation: Proven capability to produce fully coordinated, high-quality construction detailing and documentation.

  • Project Delivery: Ability to manage projects seamlessly from Preliminary Design through to Developed Design, Construction Documentation, and Contract Administration/Site Observation

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage workloads effectively and meet strict studio deadlines.
