Located on an elevated site of an historic quarry, this substantial house embraces its unique alpine environment. Comprising of a series of zinc and schist clad geometric angular forms, the house mimics the surrounding mountains and rocky outcrops.

Panoramic views to The Remarkables to the South and Coronet Peak to the North are dramatically captured through extensive glazing, while large volumes of local Schist stone provide a real sense of solidity. Deep verandah’s and a covered outdoor room provide relief from the relentless Central Otago sun, whilst also providing protection from severe winter storms.
